good luck w overheating prob, if you don't get it to a shop i would definitley change the oil before i did anything else. go to 4wd.com and request a catalog and check out the lifts or rustys offroad would prob be better for xtras being it is already lifted. i have a 98 classic and it is a damn good jeep (160,000)

i know you said you fixed the overhating problem.. but just my 2 cents.. make sure your fan clutch is still good i had overheating issues with mine and i replaced the clutch.. a 40 dollar part which took about 20 mins to install.. its alittle jeep cooling insurance.. also. i just put 2 10" spx subs in my jeep.. and had the same speaker issue.. turns out the rear speaker wires were touching each other.. which made my speakers all sound like crap.. that was fun to find.. but a cheap fix.. glad to see another young guy on here.. GL with your jeep shes a looker. i have a 95 with a l6 and shes at 188k and still running super strong.. these engines are bulletproof with regullar maintenance.. happy jeeping!
