fixed the overheating! just put a new waterpump in it. and put a thermostat(didnt have one) but with the old waterpump. all the blades were like torn of the impeller or whatever you wanna call it in there. therefor not pumping and water through

yeah most likely ha. also new problem i found out. my front two speakers dont work. i took the radio out and it was all connected. also my dads truck has the same exact radio and i switched the radios and it still worked so its not that. took the panels off. both connected and wires look good. so im guessing its something with that amp under the seat? or is there anything else you guys think?
You could use a voltmeter to see if you're getting any power to the speakers, could rule out a wiring or amplifier issue that way. I think they're 100 watt speakers? Should have an Ohm rating on the side. Volts x volts x ohms = watts so you could see if it's getting the power it's supposed to. I think, been about 8 months since I took Electronics class... Also, volts x amps = watts so you could measure the amps too, if you're voltmeter does that, mine does. I guess that makes it a multimeter really. If you can see the amp you could also measure at the amp to see if it's getting/putting out the power it's supposed to. I'd hope it's the speakers really because you could grab some cheapo ones that would sound decent and they're easy to install.
Oh, I think I just remembered that in order to use the multimeter to measure amps, it has to be in series. So you'd have to connect positive cable to the meter, and then the negative cable on the meter back to the circuit/device. Might be easier just to measure the volts and multiply (if it has the Ohm rating clearly visible).
On my jeep had the same issue with the front passenger speaker and it turned out to be the speaker wire going from the door thru that rubber grommit into the car needed replacing. Just ran new wire and that fixed the issue. I guess it was just cheap speaker wire.
hmm yeah im hoping its something like that. im 16 so as you figure im gonna be getting an all new sound system in it. just wondering if i can do a quick fix until i get the money for it all
all cherokees have the same issue due to wiring configuration, remove pass side kick plate and access harness , check wire colors to speakers and locate them in harness, remove the from speaker then , cut in harness and attach new wires, tape and some wire lube pull from door to kick plate access ( new wires ) HD speaker wire...... and connect with crimps add no -corr to connections reconnect to new BETTER speakers...i have polks front and back with rockford std amp and a rockford lp amp for my subs which are custom installed in flip down rear seat......anyway all teens and upper fifty dudes with music appreciation ...@ high decible levels should enjoy......good luck
