finally finished the 4.5" pain in the *****
okay, dispite what ppl say, it no way was lifting my jeep fun or easy lol
took 6 hours to finish the front friday night.. now today (sunday) i drove 30 mins on the highway while doing a wheelie (only had front lifted) and no alignment to my friends house so we can finish the back
it took us about 9 hours to finish lol... now i need to get up early tomorrow and get an alignment.

yes it is 2wd by next winter i will be done with the 4x4 conversion... guess i didnt do enough homework though, just found out i need an adj. track bar and a drop pitman arm lol...

Haha, I agree with you. When I lifted my TJ everyone was like "It'll take you like 6 hours" "it's a piece of cake"... After 3 days I was thouroughly pissed of! lol

its been 2 days 15+ hours for me so far, and now i need the drop pitman arm and adj track bar... any suggestions???

no, you'll still need the adjustable track bar unless you redrill to move it over. but with how cheap track bars are, i would just buy the adjustable one.

i would say dont bother doing it yourself unless you have an air drill it would shave like 8 hours off the job lol but if your real good at wrenching long hard time consuming bolts grab your self alot of pb blaster, and a blowtorch

redrilling just gets it close. you need the adjustable track bar for getting it on the money. after my lift i grabbed a tape measure and did a driveway alignment on my jeep, it was damn near perfect. as far as what to expect for the lift.. like someone mentioned before, pb blaster, torch, and alota elbow grease. i'd say the worse part of mine was removing the rear leafs.
