Default Fiberglass Fenders on XJ.

Does anyone have? I love the baja look, and I'm thinking of getting mcneils or rustys fiberglass fenders..

Was just wondering if anyone has them? Id love to see a picture if you have..

they look good on rigs that need fenders for the local LEOs or race class. but if your a rock crawler i'd stay away as glass cracks when it hits rocks. if your a go fast dirt guy go for it

Yeah, I have a wreck I use for crawling.

I'll be doing desert runs/trails mainly.

Fiberglass is very strong and half the weight of steel. There is a company that makes winch bumpers from fiberglass and I have never heard any complaints about them the company is called icelandoffroad.com The only company I know of for the fenders is rusty's

Rustys glass fenders are garbage they are thin and brittle

Good Glass fenders will hold up I've seen some take some serious hits on rocks and hold up
there is a thread in the JeepSpeed section of NAXJA with links to glass fenders I am considering a set of them for the front of my XJ and notch flares for the rear

Both links below are of good quality
