Default Fender flare question

I want to purchase a set of fender flares for my 92 4 door xj but have a question about fender flare compatability and the cut and fold rear quarters. I want to purchase a set of flares and cut my rear quarters to match. That being said, I spoke with a vendor on the forum and he does not know of a a company that makes fender flares for cut rear quarter panels and suggested I post the question to the forum.

The question is, how did you cut the fender flare or did you find a company that makes fender flares for cut quarters?

I have not seen them for cut quarters. And for most aftermarket fender flairs, you need to cut the fenders anyways. If you look on the Bushwacker site, they have the instructions. If you already plan on cutting them after your lift. You will be ahead of the game. And will not have a butchered mess to deal with, when it comes time for the flairs. JMO!

Thanks but I really want to cut the rear quarter. Can the fender flares be cut to match the cut quarter?

Napier Precision Products has a set of flares for cut n fold quarters. Yes, he's a vendor here. In the vendor section its under Tough Flares for the XJ. Screen name is NPx.

I used the search feature before posting my question and contacted Napier but they only make them for the 97 or newer. Hope that doesn't come across as being too much of a smart ash. Too many times I see guys bashing others for not using search before posting and i didnt want to get bashed for not using search

Its all good, no worries. I remember seeing them, just didn't remember what year they fit.
