Default fender flair painting

ive searched on here and still not 100 percent sure what paint to buy for it, would prefer to use paint and not a dye does anyone have ideas

I would just use the Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint. Assuming you can get a close enough color to match.

Fusion won't hold up as well outdoors, and if the plastic has been treated with anything it is much more likely to orange peel then outdoor will.

would it be better to do 2 coats of fusion then a coat of outdoor kinda use fusions as a primer or something along those lines

Why? Do some very light wet sanding (1000grit) and spray 2 coats of outdoor on it

I used the Krylon plastic fusion almost two years ago and it turned out amazing. Still has not showed any signs of fading with being outside and trail use. Just masked off the body and went at it!

I'm not saying it can't or won't work, just that its very finicky and sensitive.

If there black, go to a auto paint store theres a company called SEM that makes bumper paint made for the molded parts like the bumper ends,flairs and they also make a trim paint for the metal part of the bumper

ended up going with the fusion will keep everyone up to date with how well it holds up however when i took them off to paint today pretty much every bolt broke so have to wait til tomorrow to put them back on

Hang onto those brackets. drill out the broken bolts, replace w/new bolts and nuts.
