Maybe I am really cheap. But I don't see mods increasing value that much.

But isn't that why this was posted? To hear what everyone thinks about it? I thought that was the goal of a feeler thread.

Yes I understand what everyone on here is saying and they are all valid points. Fact is this XJ is not a trail beater. Its very clean inside out and underneath. I researched XJ's for sale for the last year all over the country and after looking at hundreds, I found around here $6000-7500 for stock clean XJ's with well over 100k on them, I thought it was a bitt steep as well but hey they are getting it. I also found my fair share of $4-5k XJ's that were well worn. And of course the $2-4K either were beat up trail rigs or needed alot of work and did not have clean titles. Of course there are always exceptions, and $7500 was just a starter, not firm.
Mine has been on the trails a bit but not abused, and its very clean. It has a clean title and even cleaner carpet, lol. I do understand especially on the forums that guys sell well built rigs for dirt cheap alot, and that you never get your money back for upgrades. That being said you wont find a Jeep this clean for less than $6k, and with $4k in goodies its still a good deal.
