just got to poking around under the dash while putting in my new 4wd hardware floor liners and noticed that there are lights under the dash. drivers side light is set up a little further than the passenger side, and the pass. side light is located just above the fuse panel door.

they don't come on when the rest of the interior lights do, and the bulbs seem fine (gonna run to the parts store in a few for some new ones just in case.)

just wondering if these are supposed to work, as i couldn't find anything in the owners manual...

so apparently, just because the filament is still intact in the bulb, it doesn't mean the bulb is good....new bulbs=light for my feet.

i think i replaced mine with 1157 leds but if you look up sylvania it will have em for you so you can get the size to put the little covers back on but mine were like orangish yellow they were so faded lol.

 

im looking into this and sylvania dont have the footwell light (under dash) the ones i pulled out look similar to 1157's


i want blue under dash LED lights but at 15 a piece i kind of want to be sure they are the right light cause id hate to get it and not beable to use it.

 

Old post but figured I'd reply in the event someone needs this info and does a search. The bulbs are #67's. #67's have the same BA15s base as the 1156's and both have a single contact. 1157's are dual contact (BA15d)......

I looked at bulbs and they both look good too. No broken element. Is there a fuse that is associated with these. I can find nothing in owners manual that lists fuse plugs?

 

EBAY guys, EBAY. SuperbrightLEDs is way overpriced. You can get allotments of LEDs on Ebay super cheap. It's what I've been using for LEDs for years.
