Iv never seen one that color...Im not sure if it is factory color...maybe someone else can chime in.

Yup, that is a factory color for '97 Jeeps. It is called Perry Winkle Blue.

My brothers '97 TJ is that color. I have seen a couple of '97 XJ's running around that color too.

Seen very many? No.
Seems to be a pretty rare color on the Cherokees.

It is actually rare on TJ's as well. I have never seen another TJ that color besides my brothers.

I love it! Just bought this little treasure....kind of nice having a more unique colored Jeep lol
