Default Exhaust note

Sometime before I got the Jeep, the exhaust pipe after the muffler fell off. Now it is loud...but sounds awesome and way more powerful than it is! The tone of the 4.0l sounds excellent!

Just a few minutes ago at the convenience store (buying some Mountain Dew to attain my redneck-ness for the day) I set off the alarm of the Nissan Xterra right next to me with just the exhaust note coming off my hoopdie XJ. LOL! Awesomeness!

That extra power you feel comes from your brain, not your engine. Your butt dyno is no match for a real dyno.

The nice part about the exhaust being gone after the muffler is that the fumes come inside the cab with you because its not going all the way to the rear.

Maybe we should wish you "Sweet Dreams" for that "Dirt Nap" you could be taking.

It is a good thing that my windows don't roll up all the way... Ventilation!

I am gonna fix the exhaust as soon as I can afford it...

Cherry bomb to side dump. Safe, legal, still loud and badass.

Maybe i need some work on my Man Card.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of loud low-revving 150hp motors?

One man's trash is another's treasure. It could be worse! I could be driving a honda with a coffee can for a muffler! Those things sound so awesome! /sarcasm....

My XJ can just use such Hondas as a ramp!

I mean... all my cars are loud. One of my Jeeps is loud. I HATE it.

My Miata is REALLY loud. Bet that qualifies me as a ricer, but loud 17 second Cherokees are cool. :P

The ticking noise is the damaged serpentine belt which I hope to fix real soon as soon as I come up with money... The plan had been to buy this thing for a grand and put a few hundred bucks into to fix it up... Johnny Law ended up taking everything I had because of some stupid bull**** that I wasn't even guilty of and now I am broke... F the popo!

I had a first-gen MR2 that was somewhat loud...but kicked 'vettes to the curb. 0-60 in 4.5 secs. Not bad for a poor man's Ferrari!
