Default eBay LED Lights

So I might have of been drinking one night and ordered some LEDs off of eBay. They were $1.04 + $5.99 shipping (from hong kong) I figured if they were ****ty that its only $7 and I could just use them for some other project. But once they came in I was quite surprised although my hopes were really low.

Now, Keep in mind these lights aren't intended for any sort of "throw" or anything like that. I bought them kind of just as markers. I ordered them and contacted the seller because I wanted amber. White ones came in after going back and forth for two days they were only going to give me a $2 credit. I told them I either needed another white set to complete my application or I needed the amber, so they agreed to send me an amber set at no charge and I got to keep the white set! So I got two sets (one white and one amber) for $7.03!!!

I already have some water proof rock lights that I will be mounting in the wheel wells (well that was the original plan) but now that I have these lights I don't know where I should apply them, the white ones or the amber ones.

Thoughts?

They are not AS bright in person in as they are in the picture but for the price they do put out a decent amount.

Downside: They are wired to a control box that has 3 different flash settings. So you would just to have cut out the control box and wire them up to be direct on or direct off via switch, or you could keep the flash setting maybe for amber markers.... But they do come with quick disconnect extension cords to extend the original ~4inch line to ~3feet. (haven't measured just guessing)

Seller has them currently as buy it now for $24.99

But frequently puts them up for auction starting at .99 Link to store ---> http://www.ebay.com/sch/auxmax/m.htm...1&_ipg=&_from=

Any thoughts my fellow jeepers?
