Dynamat door kit
Probably won't be much help but I started sound deadening and started a thread.

Everything you could ever want to know about properly sound deadening an automobile.

I used 80mil Noico(butyl based as well) instead of dynamat, it was much cheaper, and it made a HUGE difference! It made everything feel more sturdy, noticeably reduced road noise(mostly wind noise I think), and made it so I don't have to crank the tunes until my ears bleed....I still do though.lol

I was going to go with that. But the couple reviews about the butyl running out made me nervous. But am going to use that for the floor. Doors, other upright panels, and the roof are getting the Dynamat. Figure if the reviews are right on the floor doesn't really matter.

The only reason I am sound deadening is because I am opening up panels to do things. Swapping all my glass for factory privacy glass. Had to chase a leak in the cargo bay from the hatch, put new door checks in both front doors, putting in an overhead console, and putting in a leather interior with a power driver's seat. Figure I have to rip up at least some of the carpet and at least loosen the console to run the wire. So figure POR 15 and sound deaden just cause I am there. Really do not care. More a turn up the radio kind of guy.

Also look at fat mat. I have used dynamat and fat mat and do not notice any difference. I have my front doors done but not my rear doors and there is a big difference. The rear doors sound like they shut twice and the front door a lot better.

I also used Noico 80mil and it is holding up just fine. I wasn't building a luxury car so there is no discernable difference in dampening vs Dynamat, and the adhesive on the Noico has done just fine from -10*F to +100*F. I used it on the front doors, rear doors, rear quarter panels, and will do the trunk hatch at some point.
I used Frost King for the floor boards under the carpet because it was designed to insulate, and it's noise reduction was just fine as well, will likely use it for the headliner when I do it. Made a huge reduction in heat, specifically around the trans tunnel and where the exhaust runs.
Spent the money I saved on other improvements like my Subwoofer and heated seats

I've never done it, but I can tell you it will, and your door speakers will have noticeably better sound quality if you do around them as well... this is especially worth it if your Jeep is one of the "lower-end" models like my Grand Cherokee WJ with less insulation from the factory
