Default Duplicolor truck bed coating cure time?

Anyone ever used this stuff? (rattle can) I appled it to my rocker panels and really like the look and texture of it BUT it seems to be taking forever to cure. I sprayed 5 coats of it trying to be careful that the layers were consistent as best I could. It's been 3 days and sections of it are still soft as if it's not cured fully but seems to be getting there, although very slowly. I'm afraid to drive it just yet in case a rock would ding it.

This?? I used it on my rockers... Took only a few hours for mine to dry. Did you sand it? Or prime it before spraying that on there?

If you didn't sand it and use some kind of cleaner it'll never stick! I used it on a bumper and bumper caps so far. It was out in the sun in 80+ weather it was good to handle in about an hour.

Yep, sure did. I sanded down to the original primer, cleaned, sprayed new primer and sanded that. The final sand was a quick run with 80grit to give it some grip.

Curious about something...I did a test scrape with a razor scraper and that stuff peeled right off in rubbery strips. What little residue was left cleaned up easily with Goof Off. I'm convinced I did a good prep. Could I have maybe gotten a bad batch? This is so odd. Anyway, I've got one side stripped, sanded and ready for new primer which took about two hours. Gonna do the other side in a little while. I think I might use another product for this.

This is what I used.

Just did my zj today with dupi color. They had 2 cans of each the bedliner and the armor so i got all 4. Used the bedliner and then the armor on top. Looks like its curing well. Dont want to scrap at it for a few days to make sure it cures all the way but looks solid. I'll post results. In a few days.

How's it looking? After stripping the first attempt, sanding and primering again, I shot the bedliner to it this morning. Two light even coats and it seems to be setting well with a nice texture. It was dry to the touch after about 2 hours so i think my problem was that i sprayed it on too heavy the first time. I'm going to let it sit all day in the sun and then hit it with some satin clear coat. So far so good.

Pretty much any bedliner takes a couple hours to dry to the touch, 24 to "dry" and about a week to fully cure. Obviously it differs due to weather, thickness, ect.

The duplicolor stuff sucks though imo. I used it on the rockers on my pickup and it's all peeled off. I'd taken the truck down to bare metal, primered it, taped off the rockers, painted and clear coated then went back to the primer to hit the rockers with it. Lasted about 4 months before it started coming off.
