Drop tranny on a 2wd with lift???
I have a 4 1/2 RC lift on my jeep, (bought it that way) how do u know if the previous owner drop the tranny to stop vibes? (do u have to on a 2wd?) and how much would something like this cost if he didnt?
the tranny drop kit is just spacers and longer bolts between the uniframe and tranny crossmember. If the tranny crossmember is flush against the uniframe...no tranny drop wa done. The factory configuration is 2 per side, use a 15mm socket. Usually its one stud/nut and one bolt per side, with weldnuts inside the frame.

2wd or 4wd makes no difference. You drop the crossmember to help the rear drive shaft angle.
At 2 inches of lift and a shorter drivetrain I would think your vibes are coming from elsewhere. How are your ujoints?
