It is irresponsible to drink(alcohol or any other substance that impairs your ability) and drive, period.

I don't personally drink at all, but i think if you do, you should wait until you are done wheeling, when you're sitting around the fire, go for it

First of all, I rarely drink and even then I have to be in the right mood. When I do, I never exceed my limit (which when you go as long between as I do, that limit is very small ). If I'm behind the wheel or even think I will be within a certain amount of time, no alcohol for me.

Sometimes ill drink one or two if its a light trail. One or two has no more effect on me than water or soda would. Coffee is another story, makes me uppity as hell.

Yea I don't get hammered drunk and drive my rig...I just take a few beers if I know im going down a long trail....it seems like everytime I don't drink I break it lol...if you guys go have a few at the camp then get back in your rig your just as "bad" as me...I've been racing motocross and riding all my life it sucks to try to putt around with a beer on a dirtbike..so I rather like the fact I can take it easy and enjoy a few cold ones while on the trail

I've lost 2 friends to to drunk driving... I know what it's like.

You don't need to preach to me.

Was your friend the one drinking or were they killed by someone drinking?

Sadly, he closed the bar down then got on his motorcycle. Fell asleep on his way home.
