How many of you wheel doorless?
Edit.. Stupid app. I've always wondered if your b-pillar takes a beating or not. There have been times my doors have been laid into and essentially used as a skid to get through certain trails. I've always wondered how that works without your doors on.

To the OP - YES, go doorless. One of the best mods you can do to your XJ. Just be sure to follow local laws for driving on the streets.
I haven't wheeled mine doorless yet but that'll be happening this weekend.
As for front speakers, easiest thing I found was installing a second sound bar.

And as for wiring - fronts I used harnesses from a ZJ with the Infinity system. They make it so it's all on one plug that's flush with the body when the doors are off. Rears are from Ford Windstar's. There's a 5-wire harness right next to the intake manifold on 'em.

All 4 off and loving it!

wheeled without rear doors a couple times. caught a hinge on a rock and bent it. rear doors will be staying on. I have to keep the front doors off now. I'm too used to being able to spot myself
