Doorless
I've been wondering. I fully intend to Go doorless this spring once i get her lifted and more "Respectable" Also putting tube doors.
I was thinking what do you all do when you have to park somewhere? just find a spot up front or? and what about Cargo in the back?

Yeah just like convertable owners you need to learn to drive around with nothing of value inside your rig. Also cut down your trash or it'll be flying around everywhere!

This!
Two door XJs look damn good doorless.
Yeah, and any dust or dirt or anything of the sort will fly around too. At least it did in my 87 that had never been doorless.

just take the faceplate off and lock it in the glove box. when u install the stero put all the theft tabs up to make it really difficult to get out. most people wont steal out of your xj if its day time and parked out in a busy parking lot

I like to think theives find it awfully strange to find a beat to **** xj with no doors or windows parked in the city and think its too easy to steal something out of it. they probably think its a trap and someone is watching them.
but the only valuables i leave in there are a booklet of cds (who steals cds nowadays anyway?) a $100 stereo, 4 ****ty speakers, and some change.

I dont agree with locking stuff in your glove box. There made out of plastic and cant be that hard to break into. And if someone tries to open it and its locked, then there thinking that theres something valuable in there. Just use cheap radios or take the faceplate off and put it under your seat or up under where the gas pedal is. Its not too hard to find a place to hide it.

I definitely lost the key to my xj and pulled hard enough on the glove box and the latch broke right off
Wheel locks are easy to get around but I don't think I'll post on how to do that. Lol
