Cant remember who said that they can turn the wheel violently and it doesnt leave the lane.
Just wonderin, so you have to turn before turning? Like crank the wheel in advance to round a curve.

U-Joints are pretty easy with a hammer and a big socket. 5 minutes to pound it out.

uhm, no matter how much i regrounded and replaced the door switches my cabin lights were crazy, so I totally rewired it with my own power and switch and with LEDS

My power back hatch refuses to unlock, its getting power, ive replaced the solenoid, the locks all greased up, wtf! only thing I can think is its not getting enough amps so I need to again run my own power and switch. It wouldn't be so bad if I had a key to the hatch....

The door noise is a bad check pin. Might be broken, not seated correctly, GONE, warped, etc. My drivers side is completely shot so I bought a whole new mechanism for it, but the passenger and right rear just needed new pins. Mechanism was $70ish and the pins were $5 each. Take the mechanism apart and put some oil & grease to it, it will clean it up nice.

Yep... even with the fan on the lowest setting, if I have it on Hot... it gets it. I usually leave it on 1 and te temperature up all the way, and crack both windows a half an inch.

I sorta have the same problem with the gas... I just pull it out a little and it fills up fine and fast.

Whenever Im tilted to a side, my hatch wont shut... i have to pull it in the opposite direction of lean.

Mine made noises that made me cringe when stopping and starting.
Turned out leaf spring center bolts sheared in half the U bolts stretched and the axle tube started to crack.
Fixed for now till the 8.8 goes in.

A/C turns down when I accelerate...can have it on full blast, accelerate to get on the highway and it goes to the low setting and stays there until I get off the highway. Works well though

This is unheard of. An XJ that doesn't run hot.
