If the alternator is hinky I can kick the tunnel and it'll crank.

The speedo cuts out every so often. A good tap makes it work again.

It'll only leak oil when I mention that it hasn't leaked oil in a while.

 

when at a stop to get into first with ease i have to shift down to second then goes into first smoothly. darn manuals sometime i tell ya.

 

The air only works on full blast and only blows up top, My drivers door wont lock w/ the remote, I can U turn drivers side in 1.5 lanes and 2.5 to the passenger side and the best one is the rear washer pee's on the car behind it (gonna glue a lego person back there)!

 

Power locks only work on front two and hatch, rears must be locked manually
Steering wheel squeaks when its cold

On my 95, every morning, first thing, when I pull out of the driveway, and start down my quiet street, I rest my foot on the brake pedal to get ready to stop at a stop sign. The moment I put, or even think about putting the slightest amount of pressure on the brake pedal, the right rear completely locks up. Every, damn, morning. It'll do it at another stop sign down the street. As soon as it's past those 2 signs, it's fine the rest of the day.

 

hm. mine likes to start but then once i get going, she'll turn off and not move anymore!!!!!! happened to me for the second time today!!!!!!!!!

 

My front passenger door can only be locked by using the key from the outside. All the other doors and hatch work fine with power locks, and I can hear the actuator for the passenger door clicking, the bar even moves with the door panel off, but the switch won't let it lock when the panel is in place. Been 2 years and I still can't figure it out.

 

My key wont work in drivers side door and theres a wierd tinking noise whenever i hit bumps but cant find anything loose. The unibody groans when i pull in the driveway like its a rock climb

 

My drivers door has the same issue???

 

I was at the store the other day and saw a lady who had locked her keys in her cherokee. for s**** and grins I tried my key and surprise surprise, it worked!

 

the majority of my squeaks and rattles happen when my engine is at 2250rpm.
the good ole clunk from the front end when in 4wd.
my tailpipe smokes like cheech and chong put together but am not burning anything.
my speedo doesnt work till i hit 20 and then it shoots up to speed.
my serpintine belt screams insanly loud untill i drive 0.15 miles and stops immediately.
when i cut off the engine the radio still play for a few seconds then fades out slowly.

 

I can pee on the car behind me too!! Lol sucker shoots pretty far

 

when i fill my antifreeze up it spits at me

 

Whats AC? If I select AC it blows hotter air than vent, and saps engine power and runs hotter.
If I turn sharply it sounds like a burnout because my front end hops and my tires don't grip pavement worth a damn.
If I disconnect the front sway bar, 90% of the suspension noises go away, including the ones from the rear.

My xj likes to viberate at 45-55mph only when I have my foot on the gas pedal, as soon as I let off or give it more gas its smooth as butter. Been lifted for 3 years and never had a problem to about a year and half ago, changed u joints, balanced driveshaft, balanced tires, did an alingment..yada yada yada. Haha
