Weird question... I need to pick up a hatch for my 2001 from a salvage yard about 2 hours away. Does anyone know if it will fit in the back of the Cherokee with the seats folded down? I guess I could strap it to the top, but that seems like asking for issues.

Recommend having blankets and/or cardboard.

Whether I had my full size spare back there too.
I want to say I did but.......

 

I'm not even sure you have to fold the back seat down. Pretty sure I did, assuming I'd have to, only to be surprised how little room it actually took up. Oh & there was a 31x10.5x15 MT lying flat on the deck.

An angle grinder with a cut-off wheel should do the trick - if you can't weigh it in for scrap.
