I used to only wave to XJs, now that i've got my lift on, tires done, and my body looking good, I started branching out.

Just today i've gotten a wave from three Cherokees, one 4-door JK, and that's it.

I've waved at numerous TJs, two of which were even stock, and all the owners just looked at me like I was an idiot. The only guy who had his modded was only lifted 2 inches at most, it looked like. The other guys were on stock tires and suspension.

I think i'm just sticking to XJs now -___-

I wave to Jeeps that are modded in some way shape or form. Everyone else looks at you like you're a retard with three eyes.

Most people who own an unmodded XJ here are old...I mean like 65+ and when I wave at em, they give that "huh?" look....no offense to our elders. I generally wave at modded XJ's or my age group.

The thing that sucks is I went to a high school where every kid who had a Jeep had mommy and daddy buy them an 07 with all the mods already done. I know a kid who drives a TJ with a 4" lift and 35s, and he knows nothing about it. Not even the lift manufacturer. So waving to modded ones still warrants idiots looking at me like i'm crazy -___-

I tried waving to the couple of modded XJ's I've seen around town, but they just looked at me funny. I gave up waving at Wranglers... I know my Jeep isn't big, but you can tell it's obviously off-roaded. When I bought my XJ, my buddy who used to own a CJ-5, told me to be prepared to wave. So far, I think I've gotten three waves in 8-9 months. Guess I'm not part of the cool kid crowd.
