Do parts on a 87 cherokee fit a 93 cherokee
I'm about to buy a running parts 87 cherokee for its rear end Dana 35 for 400 but I was wondering if the 87 and the 93 would have more than just the axle. Would I be able to use the doors/shocks/ windows/ engine parts etc. AnyOne know?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. There is nothing wrong with a Dana 35. Sure there are better ones out there but for every day driving and light to moderate wheeling, they are fine. And yes suspension and interior will fit

While that is true. A 35 will work. But why would you buy a parts jeep for it. And why would you do the work to put an axle in when there is a plethora of 8.25's out there.

the d35 will fit, and bonus is that year is non c-clip
the d30 will fit, it may have a vac disco if it has the 231 case, the front brake calipers fit onto a removable bracket, so the 93 calipers won't fit.
the engine and electricals are renix, the 87 has closed cooling but most everything else will fit and work.
grill and headlight rings are a little different but will still work.

Honestly a dana 35 is the worse oem rear end these jeeps got.I would pass on the parts jeep and just buy a used chrysler 8.25 with the gear ratio you need to match your front diff.

The Op asks some very good questions and deserves some good answers, not a bantering about axles.

$400 parts Jeep eh? I hope you get some money back as that's waaaay overpaying for an axle! I take it something has gone horrible wrong with yours and you want to just swap instead of rebuilding. Make sure you are going between the same ratio! In the 1990s Chrysler discontinued many of the gearing options that were sold with early Renix Cherokees. You could find 3.35:1, 3.55:1, or 3.73:1, assuming the engine and transmission are the same.
You should know that 1987 and 1993 use very different fuel systems. Under-the-hood electronics and accessories are not compatible. When you see it in person you'll get the idea.
Pretty much everything else will swap over fine but installing used parts is a waste of time. Used shocks are like used underwear
