did my rusty old bumper and some steelies
in the future: hood scoop and one stage paint job all around

I did mine myself, mostly. It sure isn't show room, but I am satisfied. I used a single stage urethane and just finish sanded with 6000 grit. It's more of a satin finish, but I like it that way.

I did all the body work in my garage, then borrow my nephew's gun and compressor to prime it. We took it to his house to do the finish and gave a friend of his $100 to spray it for me.

woahh 6000 grit? thats more than show room haha
did you at least use 1000 and 2000 before that? must have taken forever to get all the orange peel other wise
that color looks great though I really like it

Oh yeah, that was the final step. I think we started with 3-4000 after it was sprayed.

Mine are wet sanded primered then gloss then clear in the process of my next one

Not sure how I posted two of the same pic but here is the pumpkin right after I painted it. It is a Case tractor color called flambeu. Painted it in the barn.
