Disconnected hose on my Cherokee Laredo
I have a hose that has broken off on my Jeep Cherokee Laredo (1991). It comes off of the front axle and runs towards the transmission. It was hanging loose in the area behind the front driver wheel.
No fluid leaking so it seems like an air or vacuum line.
I was under the Jeep and cannot find where it broke off from.
I pulled it up and fastened it up to the master cylinder with a twist tie just to keep it from flipping around while i am driving.
I noticed the transmission is slipping and slams into gear after I stop at a traffic light since i found this hose disconnected. I am hopeful this loose hose has something to do with that and not that the Tranny is going bad on me.
It is a hard rubber hose about 3/8 in size.
Photo attached.
If anyone has and ideas where i can connect this hose back to where it belongs I would very much appreciate it.
