Detours Backbone...Installed!
Hey guys, the backbone came in today so I threw it on after work. I have to run to the parts house in the morning and grab 2 nuts. The clip/nuts holding the bumper brackets on all broke. Enjoy the pics. I will get some more pics when the winch gets put on tomorrow.

Looks good man. i have the same thing
I swapped out the roller fairlead for a Hawse though. I didn't like how far out the roller was sitting and the shine of it hurt my eyes. It looks much better with a Hawse.

Yes, I painted the Backbone with black truck bed coating and I am going to sand the stock bumper and prime it and paint it with the same stuff to match. Then of course I will be reppin the white detours sticker on the front bumper!

Actually Mud, your writeup was not only hillarious but VERY helpful. Have you ever done any heavy winching with it? I didn't realize the front was actually welded to the side plates and not bent like the other angles. And I was a little surprised that it didn't have any gussets? I just hope I dont rip the front off of this thing. But if I do, that is just a good excuse to talk the wife into letting me get the ARB bumper. haha
