Default Decisions, decisions..

Debating what to do for fender flares on my '99 XJ. Here is how it sits now:

So far I am torn between these ideas, but looking for opinions and possibly other ideas/styles:

Bushwacker Flats

Napier V2's

Undercoating 1-2" of the lip

Won't lie. I love my Jeep having cut fenders it looks Damn sexy. Now if you go that route your Jeep will never be clean. Anything and everything gets slung on it.

Kinda what I am thinking. Not that I am too worried about it staying clean or anything but it would be nice to have that protection from **** flying up all over the place. With the bumper and soon a roof rack I am trying to figure out what will bring the beefy look altogether with these fender flares. The third options just seem a little light.

If you decide to keep them cut, you could always use some of the edge trim for doors and just put them on the fenders. I know they come in like 30ft rolls at Autozone stores for $10 or so. They would a clean look, I may do it next. But I like the V2's on black XJs...

Since you already cut the front fenders, you might as well do option #3 for the time being. Those third party flares are nowhere close to cheap.

If you decide to get flares get the flat ones. Also since you have rear ones you could get steel fenders with tube flares for the front from hooligan offroad on here instead (H.O.R.E.) I know they are pricey but you could only get them for the front. Oh yeah and it sucks going wheeling with no flares on anything but rocks. My windshield and windows are constantly covered with mud, so I reinstall my stock ones every once in a while. (I trimmed them and reinstall them higher, they look like crap but are functional). Yeah leave the rears as they are and just get these bad boys.

Man I'd love some of those steel flares. But they are EXPENSIVE!

Yeah they are. The same price price as a set of 4 bushwackers. The OP only needs them for the front anyways.

Those would look pretty awesome on the front, powder coated black or red flame matched would be the following decision.

I wasn't really too into the flat fenders at first because instantly I thought of a Wrangler, but they are really growing on me.
