just searching around the web today looking at various lifts and what not, and came across this http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-li...3-lift-kit.htm

right away i know that the ''recommended tire size of 35'' is not correct lol. but jsut wondering if i get this how it will do? will it give me a 3'' lift? is there anything else that i need to buy with this to get the desired, 3'' lift so i can fit bigger tires? if anyone has this, or has used it please comment

i wouldnt do spacers. your gonna need shocks too. that kit will work but your gonna just get rid of it when you decide to get a real kit. go with full coil springs and leafs then you can add a spacer too that later if you must.

hmm, well if you think about it, this kits a damn good deal. im not gonna be rock climbing or anything.

but link me to a real kit. dream lift would be the rc 4.5 full leaf, but 700 bucks for a lift is not in my price range at all.

look at the RC 3 inch. thats great deal youve picked but if you spend alittle more your gain alot. coil spacers dont do anything to improve your suspension. just move it down. new coils will flex and ride better.

check out zone off road. we have some vendors here that will hook you up

alright thanks man, really wanted to go bigger. but dont want to mess with slip yokes, gears, steering, PRICES, but i will be going bigger later on down the road. right now i think im gonna go with
3'' lift(undecided)
crager soft 8s(unsure on size currently, suggestions would be appreciated)
and goodyear duratracs unsure on size.
but i gotta find my 97-01 xj first!! ahh being 15 just makes everything harder.

Rough country does have some pretty good deals on all their lifts. You gotta think though once you go bigger than 3" then you need to get a sye longer ds extend brake lines. That kinda stuff. Also gotta think what kinda wheeling will you be doing and also is this jeep going to be a dd also
