X2- the 8.25 is much stronger then a Dana 35. The 29 spline will version will easily handle 33's locked up,heck one of the guys I wheel with has a 29 spline with a Detroit and 35's and he hasn't had a problem. Not saying its bulletproof by any means but its a big upgrade from a 35

The axle tubes, and ring and pinion are larger and the differential housing is also stronger.
The C/8.25 with 27 spline axles are easily upgraded to the 29 spline version.
All that is needed are the shafts and a 29 spline carrier. ( or 29 spline full carrier locker )
