A real non unit bearing 60 goes for a grand or more here in my neck of the woods . I've been looking for one for my 97 F250 since I bought it in 06 !
I hate TTB 4wd they suck ..... Even worse with 1000 lbs of diesel motor on top of them .

not sure how that's "high as hell"
$800 for two full axles minus the $100 from selling the rims puts me at $700 for the pair. $400 for the front & $300 for the rear. The plus side is that its the complete axle assembly including all the brake hardware.

I haven't seen a Dana 60 front for less than $800 alone.
Now on to the fun part of cutting them down for the swap.

That pile of stuff goes for nothing around here but I guess other parts of the country stuff costs more.

I'm sure you got a deal.

Do you plan to run a Sterling rear to match the 8 on 170 mm lug pattern or re-drill the unit bearings to 8 on 6.5?
