seriously doubt that d30 has the stock shafts and ujoints. but yes the little d30 can take SOME abuse.

 

The 30 is like a hit or a miss

 

I think your right about that.Wrangler guys run them with 35s all the time but they are a bit lighter than a XJ.Even if it has upgraded shafts and joints and trussed(don't know if it is)I don't think I will ever pound on my 30 like this.

 

that is all slick rock so there is no traction. im not surprised it didnt break.

 

I've seen more 44s break then 30s....just sayin...

 

I got a buddy that is constantly breaking his 44 in the front,makes me wonder if its worth swapping with the luck he has had with his.
