Ha.. Go*
Im thinking of throwing some fun miney at the jeep. So I want to keep it low (currently 3" RC lift) I wheel Kind of hard... Wondering where I should go next. Jeep has about 160k miles on it.
I was thinking 33's and a lot of trimming... What type of guards and tires should I go with?
Currently have 31s on it

Tires are a personal preference and depends on where you wheel. I run ss tsl's and they work extremely well in the Midwest muck. Also, you should address your steering setup. I've made frownies out of a bunch of stock tie rods and finally switched to a zj v8 setup for the time being. Not saying it's a perfect solution, but it works so far.

be careful when you trim the rear man, don't cut past the pinch welds or you'll ruin the unibody!

You really don't need to trim all that much to make 3/33s work. I have a very mild trim up front and then the normal cut and fold in the rear.
Here is my 00 same lift kit as you RC 3inch and 33x12.50 baja claws.
Running stock gears for now. I plan on regearing because I'm going to be adding lockers. But 33's and stock gearing is doable. My jeep is a DD also....

I'm sitting in RE 3.5. With stock gears. It's my DD as well. The 33's are not that bad with stock gears although some day I will re-gear. Gonna put a rear lunch box locker in first.
