I'm still on the fence for this. Just got new tires and feel that cutting will force me to get bigger tires due to it giving me a lot more clearance and looking bad.

If you're not rubbing bad I would just leave the flares on. When you cut and fold the fenders it def makes you want bigger tires.

why cut the rears exactly? I've got lots of travel, I can stuff my 33's into the fenderwell and not have issues, cutting the front I can completely understand, but not so much the rear

edit: stuffed tires, my bad, never made the connection lol

My 33s don't fit well for me. I'm only on a 3" lift, tho.

For the time being be patient. The Fab section is under review.

Front fenders cut one inch. Fender and flare. Gives me plenty of room for 32's with a 2.5" lift.

You cut them and the stock flares still fit?

Yea its easy to do. Take the flare off, leave the mount on. Drill three holes 3/4" higher on each mount piece. Cut one to 1 1/4 off the fender right through the mount. Mount the flare back on with new bolts and locknuts where you drilled the holes.

Then just trim what you want if any off the flare.

[QUOTE=Tim W;1928451]why cut the rears exactly?

because stock sucks...lol

For me its a more sinister look and i hate flares of any kind. Esp. with offset wheels. in these pics the rears weren't trimmed yet, but you get the idea.
ive seen guys put the bushwaker flares with offset wheels. then they look like the wheels are tucked back under the jeep, like stock. WHY?
its take it off only to put it back on. Now trimming will make it harder to keep her clean and such....but like i said,it just looks way better imo.
