Default Customish Clock Delete Panel for 86-96

So I have access to a 3D printer, Solidworks, and I have my old clock delete panel. I see people adding things to 91 clocks like the Mercedes temp sensor and stuff. So here's my question. Would anyone be interested in a slightly customizable switch panel? I plan to make a blank in solid works and then I can cut holes for switches (square, round, or whatever you want), cut a hole for the temp sensors display, or whatever can physically fit in the panel. Would anyone like one of these?

Sounds like I should go ahead and print one when I get a chance. I haven't figured out price yet, I was just trying to gauge interest.

The later models had the clocks in the radio and no clock in the dash. This is a neat mod, especially since the stock panels are getting harder to find.

Do you mean the solid works file? I haven't actually test printed and fitted one yet. I ran out of time towards the end of the semester and I was planning on using a printer down at school, but now I'm back home for the summer. I'll be heading back soon and can get back to attempting to print them and see how the fit.

Would you be willing to post the Solidworks file on GrabCAD? I'd love to print this out and see how it comes out and fits!

Tried to PM you, but your inbox is full.
I was wondering if you ever had any progress with your clock delete panel? I would be interested in either helping with further development if you haven't tested it (I'm a manufacturing engineering student with my own 3d printer and CAD softwares), or if you have tested it and it works, I would be interested in getting your CAD model so I can modify some switches and a cigarette lighter port. I'd be willing to throw some $ at you for it and wouldn't distribute the files.

I could always go draw up my own model, but if you've got one that's almost right or right already, may as well save myself some work!

Thanks

I cleaned my messages out some so you can shoot me a message. I've been super busy with work, homework and classes and haven't gotten much farther on it. If I remember correctly I have a blank panel designed that should fit. Then one would just add whatever cut outs in the solidworks finale before printing. I have not printed one or test fit it yet.

I got an email saying it's full again. I guess they aren't deleting when I delete them on the mobile app for some reason. I'll get on my computer tomorrow morning and clear out some messages and hopefully it'll work from there.
