I'm almost totally ignorant when it comes to vehicle audio systems. What's the info with that sub? Looks itty bitty from what I'm used to seeing and more like something I could use to get a little more bass. Does it need an amp to drive it or does an aftermarket head unit have enough umph?

Here's the thread I created originally discussing the sub and the installation. No, it's not one of those subs that will satisfy those that want to rattle their eyeballs or irritate everyone within a 1/4 mile radius. But it provides a good amount of low end for most types of music, especially once it's broken in and loosens up a bit. I've been extremely happy with it, especially since it didn't require me to give up any rear floor space at all.

I grabbed an overhead console and speaker bar from a '94 XJ a while back and rewrapped them with camo fabric. Speaker bar has been installed, waiting to put the console in until I put a new headunit in so I can do the wiring then. I am planning on doing LED bulbs in the console when I put it in.
I gotta admit, that two-tone interior from a few pages ago is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I second the question someone asked, how hard is it to swap the 97+ dash into an older XJ? I've got an 89 Limited and would love a nice, luxurious dash like that for mine.
