Yep, thats exactly what I plan to do. Cut a pie shape piece out of the upright part to match the angle of the front of the console compartment and an inch out of the bottom horizontal part therefore moving it back about an inch. This will also help it to match the contour and shape of the console. The guy that tested it for me said there was a full inch between 2nd and the cup. This modification should give it a full 2 inches of clearance. Wish I could find a 5 speed around here to check it out myself.

96cherokee2dr, thanks i've got you on the list. I'll pm you later for your address and payment info once I get some more made. I plan on taking payment thru paypal to make it easy. Once I get the above mentioned adjustments made and also another surprise, I will start a new thread in the for sale section. At least I think so anyway. I think I saw somewhere that I have to have x number of posts here before I can put something up on cf for sale. Since I am fairly new here I have to look into that. There is just over 3" of clearance to get to the brake. It works great for me but I have an auto so I don't use it often. I am hoping to have some available in about 3 weeks. I am meeting with the manufacturer again tomorrow so I will know more after that.

Jeepsheep,
Did my dad come through for you? I saw you got photos, but do you have any more questions? I'm heading out to Iowa to visit him next week and I'd be more than happy to kick him in the nads for you. Alternatively, I could take whatever photos from any angles with any sized cup that you'd like (within reason of course).
Let me know,

Jeepsheep,When in Iowa, I had an opportunity to see your handywork first hand. I guess this was your first version and man I'll tell you you really knocked it out of the park. It works great and with no drilling, I'm amazed. Who did you have to sell your soul to to come up with this idea?
