Default Could use some advice..

I'm going on a trip to the Oregon border about 320 miles there I got an 89 laredo with 202xxx on the clock and I'm alittle bit nervous to be pushing her that far was wondering if anyone had any advice on checking on certain stuff that might go wrong on a long drive? Anything would help just like a little list if things to check before I go? Thanks alot guys!

I'd make sure your cooling system is in tip top shape first.. Maybe do a flush and a new thermostat

Do the obvious, check the oil, note any fluid leaks and top off all fluids. make sure all lights are working also to avoid getting pulled over.

I'd check the ujoints and while you're under there just look around for anything unusual. Check all the fluids, air pressure in the tires and make sure the spare is good. check your belts and hoses (feel for soft spots. Bring along a few tools fluids and duct tape....never leave home without duct tape

I would'nt worry to much unless you are having problems. My XJ has like 225,000 and 320 miles can be a normal weekend for me. As mentioned just look it over and have a nice trip.
