Couch/Sofa with Cherokee Rear Seats
Not sure if this should go in Fabrication, Cherokee chat or off-topic since it's kind of all of them...Mods, feel free to move where it should be if this is wrong.
I'm going to have an extra set of rear seats soon, and I'm going to try to make a frame to mount them on to use as a sofa of sorts. I will utilize the bottom portions hinges to have storage underneath of it. since the seats I have are 2 different colors, I'm going to put a seat cover on them. speaking of which does anyone know where any tight fitting seat covers are for the cherokee rear seats?
not sure if I'm going to use wood or metal yet for it. I will probably use wood and then put fabric over the wood.
any comments or suggestions are welcome! if it turns out well, I would be willing to give plans for, or make some for anyone who's interested.

sweet, I would like it to sit kind of low, and angled back slightly. I'm not sure exactly when I could start this project since I have a lot to do to my jeep, and I got school to deal with etc....

Sounds like a cool idea. You have to make a matching 4.0 Long Block table!
I've always liked automotive furniture. I gotta say the xj rear seats wouldn't be my first choice. Van buckets seats and old suburban bench seats, I'd use those. Xj rear seats don't have enough *** room.
