Default Coolest XJ Ive ever seen

XJ body on a K5 frame, 383 stroker, th400, np205, 60/14 bolt, 44's and Camo vinyl, he smacked the mud pit and did alot of other things., in the picture he is strapping up to the 5 ton M939 and pulling him out. Have more pictures if your interested just ask or check out http://facebook.com/4x4cross

sounds cool, but i dont really consider it an xj anymore. pretty much just a blazer with an XJ body

That was also my view, but figured I would post it anyway... I still think its great though, especially because I am both a diehard GM guy, and have owned a K5 or 2, and a XJ guy. Its the best of both worlds in my eyes. Also was done very well, even from up close, all the work is very clean.

I wouldn't have swapped bodies. even though they rode like crap, I was always a fan of the K5, or Jimmy's. They where one of the first, to be able to lift off the roof. Other than IH scout.

I am also a fan of the K5 bodies, they are large, can fit 5 adults comfortably, now the XJ does have rear doors, which is an advantage, but they are so miserably small that it defeats the purpose on a lifted XJ. The ability to remove the top was also great, but I wouldn't do that offroad unless I had a cage.

Still, its something different, and very cool.

looks cool and all but its not my style

there is a guy in my town that did that but its a k5 frame with a 454 inside all covered by a nice amigo body its soo coooolll!!!

and the jeeps of that time and the ford bronco, in fact the only car that came after the blazer with a removable roof was the dodge ramcharger in 74 if i remeber correctly


on topic: i rather have a stroked 318 in a xj but that motor is still kicka**
