coolant water colour?

hey so i opened the coolant cap and looked how the water looked like.

its green ? can that be right ? am used too blue colour like on my golf vr6

is it right ?

Green is correct. Your VW uses a different coolant, thats all.

oh thanks alot for the answer i thought something was wrong hehe

it cools the same as the blue one right ? just a different colour ?

Just a different chemical make up, but cools just the same.

Traditionally antifreeze was always green, but now with different makes of engines, there is yellow also.
So I guess if you mixed the two, Green and Yellow, you would get blue.
Then there is RV antifreeze that is pink, that is used in toilets and water lines and such for winterizing motorhomes and campers.
