When the car is running I have coolant coming from what looks like a hole just behind the belts. It is a 2009 cherokee. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Victor

my guess would the weep hole on the water pump
it is an early warning sign of impending pump failure

No such thing as a 2009 cherokee. Grand Cherokee, sure. Not enough info. We're not likely dealing with a 4.0 which we all know about on here.

Check the label on the side of your car again and make sure there isn't the word "grand" before Cherokee.

They're two completely different vehicles.

And after 2001 the Jeep Cherokee became the Jeep Liberty with an entirely new body style and motor.
