Yes, I had this same problem. I ended up replacing everything except the radiator. Of course, it ended up being a clogged radiator. If its the original radiator, replace it as well as the thermostat and it should fix your issue.

Overfilling is one possibility. It should normally be about half full when cold. Filling it to the top will pretty much guarantee and overflow.
