What kinds of negative comments, if any, have you received from your friends about your XJ? I only have one neg comment that I can think of.

Had the doors open and was pressure washing mud off the door panel

Friend- "What the hell are you doing?"
Me- "Washing the door panels off, they have mud on them"
F- "So what is this thing just like a trail rig now?"
M- "pretty much"
F- "Pretty expensive trail rig don't ya think? Should have just bought a four wheeler"
M- "Find me a street legal four wheeler that can haul me, my wife, both kids, and whatever gear we feel like bringing with us for $2500"

I usually get comments from my friends saying: it's a piece of s**t, it's a heap, jeeps suck, I'm a f*g, only f*gs drive jeeps and stuff like that

Mine's still stock but nothing from my friends because they actually know what XJ's are good for. My one friend wants an old 4x4 Yota and jokes around that barbie drives a jeep but he can suck it because he doesn't even have one yet

I catch a lot of grief from my friends but most of them own xjs and zjs so I know they understand... Guys at work used to give me a hard time about my xj until they realized how much my jeep actually does

the guys i work with can't understand why i tore out all of the interior, ripped all the trim off, rattle canned it, and cut the fenders. They call it a pos "cause you're like always welding or cutting on it and stuff, why do you do that?"

i dont get mad or trash talk back, i just say 'hey, it's my hobby'.

I've got some crap about my interior since I gutted it, and my friends don't like that I can't take more than one passenger. And my boss says my Jeep looks like it's been rode hard and put up wet but he still likes it, he's a big Jeep guy with an awesome TJ. I mostly get positive comments on mine, the only thing that annoys me is when random people ask me if I ever take it wheeling when it's obvious I do.

I dont think I ever get any negative comments from friends on it, a few like it actually. The wife however hates it but thats for another thread.

i got one friend at work that wishes her stock wrangler looked badass like my cherokee.. as she puts it
