It's funny because with my jeep I always get people that either love it, or hate it.. Lol Most friends say they like it, but that's just to my face! Well at my friends party the other day me and a group of friends were gathered talking when the subject of jeeps came up. When friend number one say: hey didn't you take you doors off you jeep? That's sick! Friend#2: yeah that's cool! Friend#3: (knows I have a jeep but has never seen it) cool, I like those old williys jeeps! Me: oh yeah me too (smile).. Friend#3: Have yall seen that UGLY *** jeep painted this throw up green, has a huge star on the hood, doesn't even look like a ******! Stupid stickers on the back! Freakin hideous! :silent pause: Me: ummm yeah, iv seen it, that's my jeep... He looks at me with terror.. What I ment to say was, it's beautiful and I love that Green color you picked out! Me: laughing, its ok, it's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

 

Nothing is more fun than watching somebody chew on their own foot.

 

Although I think you did a nice job on yours. (I've seen your paint thread, and you did it the right way) It is not the paint scheme I would of chosen myself. I don't like my vehicles to stand out in the crowd. Because I don't want unwanted attention from the police. Other wise I would of painted mine in Zebra stripes a long time ago. But I also believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions, And may do what ever they want, to their vehicles. So don't take what your Friends say (or me) to personal. But I do think it might limit you on potential customers should you ever want to sell it. Which is also why my house isn't painted Purple.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if my opinion of "them" may not be very positive. Same BS way back in 88 on my 69 Camaro, he called it "shtty green", (I called it Olive Metalic); well I asked what colour he painted his, his?? has one?? NOT!! Well that shtty green was just a blur at 156 mph and the lowered suspension and road race gear let her be glued to the road all day long. Low Lean Mean and Green. Today the higher the better. I like your Green and Stripes! Definately a Zombie Weapon. Keep on with the cool build.

Yes they are! But I didn't see stripes. Stars yes, Stripes No! My jeep is silver Metalic. And I've always toyed with the idea of painting the lower half Gloss Black. With silver metalic flame job coming off the front end. Just use different shades of Silver metalic in clear coat. The base is already there. it would come out like ghost flames. And really only show up in the sunlight. And be fairly easy to do.

 

Ha^^ the funny part is he doesn't even have a vehicle! He was messing around today and called me a jeep wanabe... Oh yeah, war! So I looked him straight in the face and said, hey, what does your car look like? He had no reply lol

 

Sounds like jealousy or envy to me. But you took a good way to cool his jets.

 

I bought as a project so I know mine looks rough butni told my friends if they call it a pos they don't get to ride in it when I'm done. So far only the kids I don't like have said anything
