Heres another one that I believe is extremely common. Leaky A/C Evaporator Core. I've not seen a single Cherokee in my area that had a working A/C likely due to this problem.

That brings me to...6 or 7?

Ill look into that and see if its common. All of my buddies a/c works including mine.

Maybe that's a Rust Belt thing up here in PA! lol

I need to change my heater core eventually, so I am going to swap them both out while I'm in there. I'd be stupid not to do the evap while I'm in there.

You already forgot one......JEEP period. Just empty every pocket!! Haha and my pockets are empty. Still holding strong with my 89 dd/wheeler after building it for 6 years. Only with 8 issues so far! Woot!

11 on my 98 w/ 325k a/c probs are not uncommon im on 3rd evap core and heater coil

Have had 19 of these problems. Currently 9 of them exist (front unit bearings get replaced every summer and the injector heat soak will always happen to any 4.0L)
