Yeah someone already posted about it.
It's nothing to get excited over. They're just going to keep making Jeep Libertys and stamping the Cherokee name on them. Chrysler has ruined Jeep and the Cherokee will never be the same as it was in its glorious old days.

i completely agree, i mean it has a 3.2L V6 and is on a fiat platform? no good to me

If you have issue with the Chinese XJ, you weren't going to be satisfied with ANY new modern version a Cherokee. The Liberty effectly was the recent Cherokee and this the new one.

Yep. That's my point. I believe they are updated pre-97 XJ's. If they can't except those, forget about an actual newly designed vehicle for the current market expectations and safety standards. New buyers wanting something like the XJ in construction should buy Wranglers.
