Default CB Radio Wiring

I need to rewire one of these to a CB

http://www.sauderelectronics.com/3-P...Jack-CBJ3B.htm

the wire colors are Red, Black and Orange. I was wondering in what order they go in? Like what color on the furthest pin, And then the middle and the other one.

red andblack are the only 2 you need the orange is illumination and it should be the 2 outside pins. believe the red is on the beveled side.

Thanks man. Do you think it would hurt anything if I got it wrong? I just need to wait for the part.

secure the black wire to the ground and expose the copper in the red wire. touch that to your power source quickly and if the Cb lights up you're good to finish it.

i do the quick touch test to see if everything is going to work before solding all my splices together.

Which pin is the ground? I know when I took it apart all the wires were soldered to the pins exept one. (I should have made a diagram)
