Default carpet alternitaves

Carpet is coming up tomorrow night to replace floors, the carpet is filthy and stinks. Besides bed liner what are people using? Thinking just implement paint and rubber floor mats. And putting a drain in the floors.

You could always do a rubber floor. Had a ford ranger that had one and loved it. Easy to clean, kept out a decant amount of noise.

Just don't want to have water and moisture stuck under it.

I bedlined my floor and then but down 1/4 inch rubber matting. It works really well, but you need to make sure you put down some heat insulation above the muffler and catalytic converter, they can get the floor pretty hot.

I just ripped everything out and threw some rubber mats up front. I'll be bedlining it once I weld new floors in.

most already have drain plugs in the floors under the carpet. I took everything out literally everything out preped it (PITA) putt a nice layer of sound sound deadener spray (keeps heat and road noise down) then alot of bed liner. now when i swamp it out simply spray the mud out like a wrangler and your good too go! no more nasty carpet mildue smell. other options are the expensive rubber floors as stated but can become very pricey and reviews show don't fit too well

The premade flooring are extremely expensive but the matting itself isn't. $4.58 a foot from my local true value retailer.

Check mine out! I just opened up my sleeping bag and tucked the corners in very comfortable!

They keep the dirt off my floor really well, and they're easy to pull out if need be. I actually don't have anything keeping them from moving, I cut them so they follow the contour of the flooring. If I would've wanted to take the time, I could've just made a whole new carpet out of it, but I wanted something that would be removable and not completely cover of my mice bed liner job.

Fix the floor and paint it. When painted you can always weld again in the future. Weld thru bedliner???
Then rubber backed carpet mats, get em discount cheap and replace them when they get pooched.
