I took a rubbermaod box and stuffed everything in that, put the top on and bungee corded it in, it holds rope, jumper cables and other stuff like that, but if I need the space I can move it or take it out when I dont need it. Cheap and easy, works for me but maybe you have more stuff idk

That's what I did but have straps. They stronger than a bungee cord by far. Plus still have my spare tire mounted to the factory location

I use an 81mm mortar box from the military surplus shop. Holds all of my tools, spare fluids, and spare parts. It weighs near 100lbs with all of that crap but its tough and strapped down in the back.

mine is fairly well organized with a few box type things. i have a 3 drawer tool box that holds all my basic tools, a milk crate that holds all my recovery gear such as chains and straps, then when i go camping i have a wooden box that i made as my "camp kitchen" and a cooler that fits behind it. simple and easy, all fits well and doesnt move around either.

I see what your saying, the rest of us went the cheap route, but if you fab one up and people like it, you could probably sell a few on here

on the left of the boxes is a blanket and more gear (that is now in the crate) and behind the boxes are 2 rugs (now covering the tools and crate) as well as my high lift, an axe, and my 2 man tent (yard sale special $5)

this is an extended list of all the equipment i have in my jeep. (it has been added to/ modified slightly)

i dont have that top rack because when i go camping it just takes away from my ability to pack more. but i think it could be useful if you need that type of thing, i dont.

i like the looks of the dirt bound rack but i would like to lower one side of it and put a rail aound it to hold cooler .. then you could store a toolbox under your cooler , and put crates under the big rack to hold your chains ropes , straps etc.. top rack i would like a bottom on to hold clothing , etc sorta like the mountain rack .. what do you all think of the idea..
