Hey guys I need some advice from anyone who has installed the bushwacker cut outs.. I'm trying to get them installed on my 00 and it's turning into a little. Bit of a headache. The fronts are done. They were easy. Haha
The problem I'm having is getting the rear to line up. Does anyone have pics of their install? Or could anyone take pics of theirs on their jeep? I have the hardware and the "dogs leg" but I can't for the life of me get them to line up. Every pic I see they meet where the gap in the door and body is and when I seem to get them remotely lined up the piece on the door seems to be over hanging it about an inch and a half..
I think my problem is I am cut and folded... But I thought the "cut out" style flares were for cut out fenders haha... The instructions are super vague but it looks like I'm going to have to actually bend the folds out and re cut them or something. That's the only thing I can think of. help would be really cool thanks everyone..I did get these second hand but like I said i have everything but the trim tool..

In the instructions they don't mention anywhere abut using the existing bolts. Matter of fact they couldn't bc the hardware they give you wouldn't work... The back is a real pain in the..... Lol

Dizzy, can you take a pic of where they line up on the door? For some reason i just can't get them both to sit right.. Did you have that problem? And the one that sits on the door is supposed to slide under the dog's leg when closed correct?

Thank you... All the I've seen shows them meeting at the door. For some reason when I go to line mine up the piece on the door wants to fall about an inch and half onto the rear quarter... But I was already trimmed and folded before doing this. So I don't have my fenders cut the exact way they call for In the instructions maybe that's it idk..
Also for the front.. Being mines a 00 I had to cut down two of the screws bc they would have went into the washer resovoir... I want to just put nuts and bolts I'd feel more. Comfortable with that. They tell you to drill like a 3/16 hole and that's way too big for the hardware given imo
