Default Bumper painting question

If I have a bit of black engine enamel laying around, is there any reason why I shouldn't use it for a rear bumper?

Thank you in advance.

I don't see why not. Just prep well, and you should be fine.

I painted my front and rear bumper with engine enamel. Primed first of course
And I like it it's strong just watch out for over spray if its gloss, some patches will be flat black

Alright, thanks guys. If it doesn't look right I'll just sand it down and repaint.
